How do I stop my browser blocking Pop-up windows?

When selecting some items in the Insight system a new window will often be opened with further options; for example when selecting members from your database or when choosing a location in your site. If the desired window doesn't open it may be because your browser's pop-up blocker is enabled and is therefore preventing the window from loading.

If a window has been prevented from opening by your browser a message will appear at the top of your page saying 'Pop-up blocked' like that displayed below:

If you click on this image you'll receive options enabling you to allow pop-ups windows to open for your web site.

Note: When allowing pop-ups for your site the page will often be refreshed possibly losing edited information. First Save any changes before proceeding with allowing pop-ups to be opened on your site.

If you continue to have problems with opening pop-up windows on your web site check that the window isn't being blocked by another program e.g.Yahoo or Google Toolbar. Here is a list of programs that may be stopping the pop-up window from opening.
